Job Summary/Basic Function

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Clarion University has exciting opportunities available for tenure-track positions to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in a CAA accredited program. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: speech science, articulation and phonology, language development and disorders, AAC, stuttering, dysphagia, or other areas that best compliment existing faculty and departmental missions.

In addition to teaching responsibilities, duties include: academic advisement; scholarship; and contributions to the development of the department, School of Health Sciences, and the University.

Required Qualifications

A doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology or related field preferred, but outstanding candidates who are in the final stages of dissertation writing (ABD) will be considered. ASHA CCC required.

For tenure-track positions, the university is interested in candidates who can demonstrate outstanding potential for excellence in teaching through a successful interview and who are committed to innovative teaching approaches.
