Job Summary/Basic Function

Teach a summer respiratory care course in the respiratory care program.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care and hold professional licensure as an RRT in Pennsylvania, or professional licensure (or a credential comparable to licensure) in a state of residence that neighbors Pennsylvania.

A bachelor’s degree in respiratory care or in a related field.

A minimum of two years experience teaching in an accredited respiratory care program either as an appointed faculty member or as a clinical preceptor. Prior experience developing an EKG curriculum and teaching EKGs and ACLS content in a CoARC accredited respiratory care program. Minimum 5 years experience as a respiratory therapist in a coronary care unit.
