Job Summary/Basic Function

The College of Arts and Sciences at Clarion University is seeking to expand the current temporary faculty pool to teach various graduate and undergraduate courses for the 2016-2019 academic years. All former applicants in the 2014-2016 pool need to reapply. All positions are contingent upon the availability of funding.

Public Speaking, Business and Professional Speaking, Introduction to Mass Media, Writing for Media, Introduction to Video Production, Photography, Field Production, Audio Production, Studio Production, Designing World Wide Web For Media, On-Camera Performance, Intro to Film, Broadcast Principles & Practices, Publication Design, Methods of Persuasion, Nonverbal Communication, Communication Consulting, Journalism Foundations, Journalism Principles and Practices, Publications Editing, Investigative Journalism, News Writing, News Reporting, News Writing for Internet Media, Broadcast News Writing.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Communications or a related field of study and completion of a successful interview.

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience at college/university level; Ph.D. in Communications is preferred, ABD considered.
