Job Summary/Basic Function

The College of Arts & Sciences at Clarion University is seeking to expand the current temporary faculty pool to teach various undergraduate courses for the 2014 – 2015 and 2015 – 2016 academic years. All positions are contingent upon the availability of funding. Candidates must hold a minimum of a Masters Degree in the appropriate discipline or a related field of study.
General Biology for non-majors
Anatomy & Physiology with Labs
Microbiology for Allied Health Majors

Required Qualifications

M.S., Ph.D. or terminal degree in the discipline that is being taught or a related field and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English are required. The successful candidate must have the ability to teach undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses.

Preferred Qualifications

The candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to education and teaching excellence, enjoy working closely with students and have a familiarity with proper laboratory procedures and ethics.
