Job Summary/Basic Function

Plan, organize, and advertise/market business seminars. Create and coordinate distribution of marketing materials. Present on SBDC services. Act as a representative at seminars and other official events. Prepare news releases on individual seminars and center activities. Coordinate social media to engage with funders, partners and legislators. Perform website updates.

Required Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, plus two years of work-related experience. Prior work experience in marketing and training preferred. Applicants should be highly professional, with strong organizational and time management skills. Basic web editing and e-marketing experience helpful. Strong communication and presentation skills. Public relations experience helpful. Proficient in MS Office.
Travel required.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred in business, marketing or related field.
