Job Summary/Basic Function

Clarion University seeks applications for a Systems Analyst position in the Application Services group. Responsibilities include the design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and administration of complex information systems using a variety of development tools. Duties include analysis of business needs and the design and development of effective IT solutions to meet those needs, development of functional and technical expertise for large applications, and support for production systems.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Science or a related field and completion of a success interview.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include six months of systems development experience (internships acceptable). Preferred candidates will have strong team, communication, and project skills, expertise with the development of web-based systems and relational databases, knowledge of student information systems (ex. admissions/CRM systems), and the ability to effectively support production information systems. Knowledge of data integration tools, Oracle tools and large-scale administrative packages such as the Oracle/Peoplesoft suite is a plus.
